Francesca Tur, president of the Consorci, (Sant Miquel de Balansat, Eivissa, 1961) is a graduate in Philosophy and Arts, Geography and History section, from the University of Córdoba (UCO) in 1985. She has a postgraduate course on editing and the dissemination of the book by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) in the 2011/2012 academic year; postgraduate course on Preventive Conservation of documents, books and graphic works by the Carlos Antwerp Foundation and the UNED in the 2013/2014 academic year; Course on management of photographic archives at the Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia (IEFC), in February 2015; And, during the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic year, he is completing the postgraduate course on Photography History and Classification of Photographic Archives by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and the IEFC.

In 1987, he agreed to the archivist-librarian technical center of the Eivissa Town Hall. Organize and inventory the funds of the Historical Archive of Ibiza (AHE) and the Municipal Hemeroteca (HME). Since then, he is the director of the AHE, the HME, the AISME and the two municipal libraries (that of Can Botino and that of Can Ventosa). He organized the creation of the auxiliary library of the AHE and in 1989 he promoted the creation of the Photographic Archive, which in 2005 was renamed Image and Municipal Sound Archive (AISME).
